Preschoolers - 2 years to 4 years
Our preschool program features developmentally appropriate, theme-based learning in a caring atmosphere.
Hands-on, sensory experiences help children understand concepts as we emphasize pre-reading skills, problem solving, oral
and written language. Cooperative learning enhances social skills, while our art classes focus on the process, not the
product. A small group instruction style is provided to meet the individual needs of each child in the center.
Being in such a caring, nurturing environment also gives each child the opportunity to develop positive self-esteem and encourages
children to build on their natural curiosity to discover the world around them.
Kindergarten
This program is centered on the "Whole Child Development" philosophy and is designed to meet the needs of
children just entering elementary school. In this full-day program, children have fun and learn through a variety of
subjects like Science, Social Studies, Language, Math, Creative Arts, Physical Education, Music and Movement. This program
emphasizes a phonics-based reading program while also introducing sight word reading. Math skills are taught with a
very hands on approach. Computers enhance the learning process by teaching skills in a fun, interactive style.
School Age - 6 years & older
This program has been structured to offer a variety of activities that include sports, games, and special
projects. Our staff will work to create an atmosphere in which each child is accepted, supported and encouraged to develop
social and recreational skills. It is our goal to help each child develop wholesome social relationships while providing
interesting activities that test their creativity, problem-solving and decision making skills. After a long, hard day
at school, children need a chance to relax and have fun in a stress free environment.
